PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an AC generator for a vehicle of low manufacturing cost by realizing the stable positioning of a rectifier, without increasing the number of part items and man-hours. SOLUTION: A rectifier 5 is provided with a terminal base 52, in which a metal terminal is embedded which connects a diode element of each pole bonded to a cooling fin 511 or the like with an output line 211 of a stator. The output line 211 of the stator has an almost rectangular section, whose long side faces the rotating radial direction and is led out along the rotating shaft direction, passes a guide hole 523 of a stretching part 522 integrally formed with the terminal base 52, inserted into an U-shaped bonding part 5211, and subjected to wire connection through welding, soldering, etc.
