PURPOSE: A near azeotropic refrigerant mixture comprising HFC134a, HFC152a, RE170(dimethylether), CF3I (trifluoroiodomethane) is provided which does not have a risk of ozone layer destruction and can be effectively used as a substitute for CFC12 without changing a compressor and lubricating oil in a refrigerator/airconditioner such as car airconditioner and household refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: An alternative refrigerant to dichlorodifluoromethanes having the properties of being nontoxic, non-corrosive, nonflammable and safer to the environment includes less than 95% by weight of 1,11,2-tetrafluoroethane, less than 95% by weight of 1,1-difluoroethane, less than 95% by weight of trifluoroiodomethane and less than 1.0% by weight of a silicon additive. |
