CONTROL DEVICE OF ROLL-TYPE GATEWAY GUIDE FOR WIRE ROLLING

PURPOSE: A monitor unit of a roller type entryway guide for the wire rod rolling is provided to easily grasp operating conditions of the entryway guide by measuring the number of rotation of rollers equipped at the entryway guide of a wire rod rolling stand. CONSTITUTION: The monitor unit (1) of a roller type entryway guide (100) for the wire rod rolling comprises a sensor part (10) in which a floodlight part and a light receiving part are positioned at both sides of protrusions adhered to one side surface of rollers so as to transmit electrical signals by detecting the cutoff if the protrusions cut off light between the floodlight part and the light receiving part during rotation of the rollers; a sensor fixing stand (30) which is equipped with a supporting plate fixed to a casing for adhering the sensor part (10) to the casing, wherein a plurality of sensor holder rods are extended downwardly from the supporting plate; and a computer (60) which is electrically connected to the floodlight part and the light receiving part of the sensor part (10) through a control unit (50) so as to receive electrical signals, outputs the rotation numbers on a monitor (62) by converting the electrical signals into rotation numbers of rollers, and generates warning signals to an operator when a difference between the actual rotation numbers of the rollers and the target standard value is strayed from a certain set value.
