PURPOSE: A hydraulic dynamic pressure bearing and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize bearing abrasion and reduce rotational load, thereby expanding the lifespan of the bearing and improving the driving efficiency of a motor. Especially, axial supporting stiffness is increased and accordingly the durability of the motor is increased. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing hydrodynamic bearing includes the steps of machining hydrodynamic grooves on upper and lower parts of an outer diameter surface of a shaft, carrying out rough machining of an outer diameter surface of a housing, carrying out normal machining of an inner diameter surface of the housing, carrying out plastic deformation of the inner diameter surface of the housing to have a roughness of 0.2micrometer-0.3micrometer, and inserting the shaft into the inner diameter part and filling oil between the inner diameter surface of the housing and the outer diameter surface of the shaft.
