PURPOSE: A stick-shaped composition for cosmetics is provided, which shows transparent property by using more than one of oily ingredient of polyglyceryl akylate, polyisostearyl alkylate, or polyisobutene as an oil. CONSTITUTION: A process for the preparation of stick-shaped composition for cosmetics comprises of: dissolving 12-hydroxy stearic acid(the content is 0.01-50wt.%), polyglyceryl-2triisostearate(the content is 0.01-99wt.%) and hydrogenated polyisobutene(the content is 10wt.%) by heating to 80°C; mixing the compound evenly; cooling to room temperature; filling to a container while cooling rapidly at -5--10°C for 3-8minutes. The stick-shaped composition can contains vitamins, sun-blocking agents, whitening agents, emollient agents, oils, ascorbic tetraisopalmitate(VC-IP) and/or liquid crystalline composition additionally according to the utility and property of cosmetics.
