PURPOSE: A method of coating a plastic pole for tent with duralumin or aluminum is provided to prevent damage of the surface and give an impression of a high quality product with low cost. CONSTITUTION: The method is characterized in the following steps: (i) placing a polished pole(10) at a rotary stay(25) on a rotating fixture(20) in a vacuum chamber(50); (ii) installing deposition materials(30) composed of duralumin or aluminum inside the poles; (iii) maintaining the vacuum level by 10¬-3 - 10¬-5 Torr by using a vacuum pump; (iv) coating the pole surface by heating the deposition materials and dispersing the particles; and then (v) coating the surface of the pole with ultraviolet curing paint for gloss and drying and hardening the coated pole at 150-200°C.
