PURPOSE: A vehicle idle speed control method by study control is provided to stabilize the engine idle speed by distributing the unstability of the idle speed caused by the rapid renewing of study values according to the air conditioner state and providing optimum study values. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle idle speed control method by study control includes the steps of determining an idle speed according to the operation states of an air conditioner, an electric load state, a clutch state, and a transmission state, determining storing places for the study values, determining respective states are proper for a study condition, carrying out study value computation according to the respective states, renewing the respective study values in each storing place, and applying the study values to the speed control.
