PURPOSE: An automatic degasser is provided to prevent waste of power consumption and to lengthen the life time of a vacuum pump by stopping the vacuum pump automatically if atmospheric pressure in a vacuum chamber is lower than a reference value and then operating the vacuum pump if the atmospheric pressure is higher than the reference. CONSTITUTION: An automatic degasser includes a power unit(10), a power supply unit(40), a pressure sensor(50), a control unit(60), a vacuum pump(20), a solenoid valve(70) and a vacuum chamber(30). The vacuum chamber has a liquid tube(31). The vacuum pump and the solenoid valve are stopped as the vacuum chamber keeps vacuum by the vacuum pump. If the vacuum chamber keeps vacuum by continuous pressure falling, bubbles contained in a liquid flowing through the liquid tube are discharged out of the vacuum pump through a thin film of the liquid tube. The bubbles are exhausted to outside by the vacuum pump. Thereby, the bubbles contained in the liquid are eliminated by the automatic degasser and injected into a column by the pump to analyze various kinds of element precisely.
