PURPOSE: A circuit for writing a control value for hardware for a specific use having a control register is provided to write a control value to hardware controlled according to a processor by reducing the number of repeated operations of the processor. CONSTITUTION: A hardware for a specific use(202) has a control register(204) equipped with a plurality of control fields. An alias register(206) is equipped in the hardware(202). The alias register(206) has alias fields(210,214,218) connected and corresponded to a control field in which a storage value isn't relatively changed among the control fields of the control register(204). A processor(200) writes a control value to the alias fields(210,214,218) of the alias register(206). The processor(200) is not connected to the alias register(206) among the control field of the control register(204). The processor(200) writes a control value to a control field in which a storage value is relatively changed.
