PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component supply apparatus which can contribute toward shortening the unit process time and which can contribute toward saving the space of a surface mounting machine. SOLUTION: This component feed apparatus 10 is constituted of an apparatus body 12 which is fixed to a component supply part. The component supply apparatus is composed of a reel holding body 14 which is connected to the apparatus body 12 so as to be detachable. At the apparatus body 12, a guide member 24 comprising a guide passage 26 which guides a component toward a prescribed component supply position S is installed, and the passage length of the guide passage 26 is set in such a way that a plurality of components can be stocked. On the other hand, at the reel holding body 14, a reel 3 on which a tape 2 used to house the components at set intervals is wound is held. Then, at the reel holding body 14, while the components are being taken out from the tape 2, the components are sent out sequentially into the guide passage 26 at the guide member 24. |
