<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate surplus adhesive agent and alignment of high precision unnecessary and reduce thermal strain. SOLUTION: Solution of powder glass is spread on the surface of a solar battery cell 12 on which electrodes 17 are formed, solvent is vaporized, baking is performed, and a glass 13 is directly formed. Consequently, alignment of the solar battery cell and glass, and finishing work for eliminating extruded adhesive agent are excluded. By selecting powder glass having thermal expansion coefficient almost equal to that of a P-type silicon substrate 14, thermal strain due to rapid temperature change can be reduced. As a result, reduction of cost and improvement of reliability are enabled.</p> |
