<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic shield with enhanced reliability for a stationary induction apparatus by avoiding local overheating through reduction of eddy- current loss in a magnetic shield and by adopting a securing method, which facilitates the installing operation of the magnetic shield and enhances the mechanical strength. SOLUTION: This magnetic shield for a stationary induction apparatus contains a stationary induction apparatus, having an iron core 1 and windings 4 and 5 in its tank 6, and magnetic shields 8 and 10 which are made of a laminated magnetic material are installed on the inside of the tank 6. At positions, which are opposite to the windings 4 and 5, within specified ranges of the inside of the tank 6, magnetic shields 10 of a prescribed width, each of which is made of integrated magnetic blocks divided into two or more pieces in the horizontal direction, are installed side by side. In the out of range regions, two or more magnetic shields 8 of a specified width are installed side by side.</p> |
