<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant monitoring computer system which improve a function or performance without reducing reliability and can perform a update work economically and also in a short-term. SOLUTION: Controllers 7 controlling a plant 6, existing computers 8 which have already been installed and operated and new computers 9 provided with a function or performance which are not provided in the computer 8 are parallelly connected onto a data way 10, and the computers 8 and 9 mutually independently access the controllers 7. Also, the existing and new I/F tasks are expanded in the computer 8 to perform data exchange between the computer 8 and the computers 9, and data inputted from the computer 9 through the data way 10 are converted so that they can be processed in the computer 8.</p> |
