<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric furnace electrode controller excellent in control stability and electric power saving. SOLUTION: A controller for an electric furnace electrode includes a furnace for accommodating molten substances 23, 24, an electrode 22 for supplying electric power to the molten substances 23, 24, and an electrode elevation mechanism 21 (21a, 21b, 21c) for ascending and descending the electrode 22. In response to a deviation between a current input value and a target set value, the electrode 22 is intermittently controlled in ascent and descent at a time interval functioning as non-response time for each electrode. As a result, unnecessary operation is suppressed together with rapid synchronization and wasteful electric power consumption.</p> |
