PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing case for camera, which is inexpensive and excellent in an aptitude for recycling, and to provide the housing case recycling method. SOLUTION: The case main body 32 is constituted of a transparent resin layer 32a formed of transparent hard resin, and an opaque resin layer 32b formed of opaque hard resin, and two kinds of transparent and opaque hard resin are integrally molded in two colors by injection molding. The opaque resin layer 32b is formed so as to cover the outside other than an exposing part 9 of the transparent resin layer 32a, then, only at the part 9, the transparent resin layer 32a is exposed. And, a photographic lens 7 for a film unit equipped with a lens 3 and an object side finder window 8 are exposed to the outside out of the exposing part 9 through the transparent resin layer 32a.
