<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform passing of a lighting fixture to irradiate beams of light with a high beam pattern which lies outside the visible wavelength range, such as infrared rays. SOLUTION: A lighting fixture 11 for a car is equipped with a light source 12, a main reflecting surface 13 fitted inside of the light source 12 to reflect light from the light source 12 to ahead of the car body, an optical filter 14 to shut off the light of the visible wavelength range among the beams of light traveling from the light source 12, an opening 16 opened in the main reflecting surface 13 and admitting penetration of light other than the light partially traveling from the light source 12 to the optical filter 14, an opening/closing piece 19 installed on the main reflecting surface 13, in such a way as to mate with the opening 16 and sliding along the main reflecting surface 13 to open and close the opening 16, and an auxiliary reflecting surface 15 to project the light from the source 12 which passed through the opening 16 to a position ahead of the car body.</p> |
