PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a superconducting lead from being exposed out of a liquid helium. SOLUTION: A helium tank inner-vessel 32 comprises a cylindrical first tank inner-vessel 30, communicated with coil inner-vessels 25a-25d of superconducting coils 23 and 24 through first communication holes 30a and 30b, and a cylindrical second tank inner-vessel 31, which is almost horizontally arranged at the upper part of the first tank inner-vessel 30, communicating with an almost central part, in the axial direction, of the first tank inner-vessel tank through a second communication hole 31a provided at the almost central part, in the axial direction. A connecting superconducting lead 43 is housed in the first tank inner-vessel 30, and the superconducting coils 23 and 24 are connected in series with the connecting superconducting lead 43 through the first communication holes 30a and 30b, respectively. |
