PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixer in a premixing plane combustion burner in which combustion air and fuel gas are premixed uniformly with low pressure loss and a premixed gas can be jetted at a uniform speed from the combustion plane of the burner. SOLUTION: The mixer 15 for premixing combustion air and fuel gas and supplying a premixed gas to a plane combustion burner 16 comprises a mixing section 21 of combustion air and fuel gas mounted on the back face side of the plane combustion burner 16, and a premixed gas passage section 22 extending from the mixing section 21 over the entire rear surface of the plane combustion burner 16 while being inverted wherein the cross-sectional area of a channel decreases gradually along the flow direction of premixed gas on the rear surface side of the plane combustion burner 16.
