PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method, for an automatic transmission(A/T) apparatus, in which a new measuring method can be added without remodeling a system, SOLUTION: A measuring-method selection step 101 which selects a prescribed measuring method out of a plurality of preset kinds of measuring methods is contained. A measuring-point setting step 102 which sets a prescribed measuring point out of a plurality of preliminarily prepared measuring points is contained. A judgment-reference-data setting step 103 which sets prescribed judgment reference data out of a plurality of preliminarily prepared judgment reference data is contained. A condition-establishment judgment step 107 and the like wherein prescribed data is fetched from an A/T testing apparatus whose operation is started and whether the fetched data estabishes measuring- point reference data is judged are contained.
