PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent duplication of functions with those of a main body in a telephone terminal whose functions are extended by a removable medium. SOLUTION: A telephone terminal 11 uses a subscriber identification module 110 to execute a collation step as to whether or not a function selected in a 1st function set 112 is in existence in a 2nd function set 113. The collation step consists of a step for comparing the selected function with each function in the 2nd function set 113. If in existence, in other words, if the function selected in the 1st function set 112 corresponds to a function in the 2nd function set 113, the telephone terminal 11 deletes the selected function from the 1st function set 112.
