PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video signal processor which can make color correction according to the difference in the color temperature of illumination light without altering the constitution of a light source unit. SOLUTION: The video signal obtained by picking up an image of an object lit with the illumination light by an image pickup device 16 is corrected by a white balance correcting circuit 35, etc., and projected on a monitor device 35. At this time, a color correcting circuit 37 detects the difference in hue due to the difference in the color temperature of the illumination light on the basis of the correction quantity obtained by the white balance correcting circuit 35 and makes color corrections according to the difference in the hue. Consequently, the color corrections corresponding to the difference in the color temperature of the illumination light can be made without altering the constitution of the light source device.
