The respective brushes 17 are guided by brush holders 15, so as to be able to slide in the longitudinal direction of the commutator 14. One longitudinal guide 20 is composed of the brush holder 15 and brush 17. The longitudinal guide 20 has a number of discontinuous parts 23 in the sliding direction of the brush 17.
