PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric apparatus including a power-saving function that prevents power from being consumed uselessly in a waiting state. SOLUTION: Because a transformer 4 outputs a low voltage that is not enough to operate a constant voltage part 7 in a waiting state, the part 7 and a microcomputer 3 are not operated and power is not consumed. When the operation key of an operating part 9 is pressed, a switching part 10 switches the output of the transformer 4 to a high voltage at the zero cross point of an alternating current voltage. The part 7 is made to operate and supplies a direct current constant voltage to the microcomputer 3. Thus, the power of an electric product is turned on. Also, since the transformer 4 outputs a low voltage when the operation key is pressed at the part 9, the electric product is returned to a waiting state.
