PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a shrink label which is a polyester-base shrink label provided with perforations and may be cleanly cut off or unsealed along the perforations without being torn to pieces in mid-way. SOLUTION: The polyester-based shrink label 1 consists of a base film 2 and a printing layer 3 and is formed with the perforations for cutting off or unsealing. The shrink label is formed by incorporating a polar nonprotonic solvent 4 into at least the section formed with the perforations of the base film 2. For example, N,N-dimethylformamide, N,N-dimethylacetoamide, dimethylsulfoxide, N-methylpyrrolidone, hexamethyl-phosphor amide, etc., may be used as the polar nonprotonic solvent 4.
