The invention concerns an articulated arm for transferring fluid products comprising two tubular sections (7, 8+2) connected to each other by a pivoted connection (3) with horizontal axis, and one of which, mobile in rotation, has a reference angular configuration wherein it is balanced despite gravity. A balancing device (4, 10) compensates the variations of gravity effect on said mobile tubular section according to the orientation thereof relative to the vertical; it is mounted between a fixed reference portion and a linking portion of the mobile tubular section which is at a non-null distance from the axis of rotation; it comprises a spring (10) tending to bring back the mobile section in its reference angular configuration (wherein it is non-operational), and applying to the mobile tubular section a force substantially proportional to the distance between said linking portion and the place of that linking portion in the reference angular configuration.
