PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture image data with various aspect ratios generated by an image forming device and to display the captured data on a monitor. SOLUTION: A personal computer 11 generates still image data at an optional aspect ratio, converts a still image format of the data into a format of a pixel image and stores the converted data in a floppy disk 10. An interface circuit 6 captures the data stored in the floppy disk 10, and a microcomputer 8 calculates a storage segmentation size to an image memory 3 and the conversion factor of a corresponding sampling number, on the basis of the size of the still image detected by an image information detecting circuit 7 and a capacity of the image memory 3. A write control circuit 5 stores the pixel data of the size to the image memory 3, a sampling number conversion circuit 1 applies sampling number conversion processing to the pixel data with the conversion factor of sampling number, an image receiving monitor 13 reproduces the pixel data as a still image via a video signal generating circuit 2. Thus, processing information with an arbitrary aspect ratio from the personal computer can be reproduced, without limitation of the aspect ratio, and the information processing function of the video camera can be improved.
