PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for a guide shaft guiding the movement of a pickup for reading a signal recorded on a disk. SOLUTION: The guide shaft fixing device is composed of a first supporting plate 2, in which a shaft hole, into which a small diametral section 8 formed at one end of a guide shaft 7 is inserted, is formed, and a second supporting plate 3, in which a supporting hole, into which a supporting section 9 formed at the other end of the guide shaft 7 is inserted, is formed, which connects the outside and the supporting hole and in which a guide groove smaller in width than the diameter of the supporting hole is formed.
