PURPOSE: A window type air conditioner is provided to allow a user to adjust the degree of opening of a communicating portion between an indoor unit and an outdoor unit, by improving installation structure for control lever. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises a main body having an outdoor unit and an indoor unit, a scroll(140) installed within the indoor unit and which serves as a flow path for guiding the indoor air to flow in and be discharged, the scroll having a portion for communicating the indoor unit and the outdoor unit, a control lever(150) having a front portion installed to close the communicating portion and a rear portion installed to penetrate through the scroll, the degree of open/shutoff of the control lever being controlled by rotating the front portion and thus rotating the rear portion closing the communicating portion, a deviation preventive member(160) arranged at an outer periphery of the control lever penetrating the scroll so as to prevent the control lever from escaping to the rear portion, the distance from a center to an outer periphery of the deviation preventive member being not the same, a recess(144) formed at the portion of the scroll where the control lever penetrates and which receives the deviation preventive member and prevents the deviation preventive member from rotating, and a sealing member(170) arranged at an outer periphery of the control lever and which seals a space between an inner periphery of the deviation preventive member and the outer periphery of the control lever. |
