PURPOSE: A lower supporting film for a PDP(Plasma Display Panel) is provided to prevent a diffusion between a glass and an electrode material. CONSTITUTION: A lower supporting film for a PDP contains one of a nitride composite, a carbide group compound and a diamond like nano compound having a high heat-resistant temperature over 120°C. The nitride compound is HfN, TaN, ZrN, TiN and so on, and has a high melting temperature over 1500°C. The carbide composite is HfC, TaC, ZrC, NbC and so on, and has a high melting temperature over 1800°C. The nitride/carbide compounds have a high covalent bond and a fine structure. Thereby, a nitride or a carbide lower supporting film is not thermally transformed in a high thermal treating process. Moreover, the lower supporting film prevents a diffusion of a glass component in a substrate or a dielectric layer. |
