PURPOSE: A battery residual capacity displaying apparatus is provided to be capable of displaying a battery residual capacity considering a battery voltage level as well as temperature and load affecting a battery discharge. CONSTITUTION: A battery residual capacity displaying apparatus comprises a battery residual capacity sensing part(50), a micro computer(60) and a battery residual capacity display(70). In the battery residual capacity sensing part(50), a battery voltage sensing part(52) senses a voltage across a battery. A battery temperature sensing part(54) senses a temperature of the battery using a thermistor. A battery current sensing part(56) senses current applied to a system unit from the battery.
