PURPOSE: Provided are a method and an apparatus for image display of change patterns created by patterns of a transfer film and irregularities of a display board, which can create a special effect by displaying an image of a letter, a mark, a figure, a color, and etc. for an advertisement and an interior decoration in various, continuous or discontinuous changes by a light source. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus(30) includes the irregularities of the fixed display board(33), the transfer film(32) which is transferred relatively to the display board(33), a transparent part of continue or discontinue special background patterns formed in the transfer film(32). A refraction and an interference of irradiated light of the light source(34) are changed according to the relative transfer of the transparent part and the irregularities, thereby, according to the change thereof, the images formed on the transfer film(32) or the display board(33) are displayed with changing special patterns.
