PURPOSE: An anti-theft mechanism is provided to reduce cost and parts count by simplifying overall control procedure and configuration. CONSTITUTION: An anti-theft mechanism comprises a compressor driving unit(220) having a relay which is installed at a power line and drives a compressor by being turned on or off in accordance with an applied control signal, a theft sensing unit(170) for detecting a voltage of the power line, a micro computer(160) for applying a driving signal to the compressor driving unit, and judging whether the outdoor unit is stolen or not according to whether the voltage is applied from the theft sensing unit or not, under the condition where the relay is turned off, and an alarm signal generating unit(140) for generating an alarm in accordance with a control of the micro computer.
