MICROSTRIP CIRCULAR SLOT ANTENNA WITH WIDE-BAND CHARACTERISTICS

PURPOSE: A microstrip circular slot antenna is provided to be capable of obtaining more wide bandwidth by widening an area of a circular slot so as to obtain multiple resonance. CONSTITUTION: A non symmetric circular slot antenna comprises a dielectric substrate(56), a ground plane plate(52) and a feeder line(54). The ground plane plate(52) and the feeder line(54) are made of a conduction matter. The ground plane plate(52) is contact on a lower surface of the dielectric substrate(56), and a slot of a non symmetric ring shape is formed on the center of the ground plane plate(52). In order to form the slot of the non symmetric ring shape, a non symmetric circular region is removed which consists of a first circle and a second circle. The radius of the first circle is more than that of the second circle. The center of the second circle is not identical to that of the first circle.
