SOLID HIGH-POLYMER TYPE FUEL CELL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid high-polymer type fuel cell system capable of self-feeding water required for its operation. SOLUTION: This solid high-polymer type fuel cell system for generating power by using humidified fuel gas and oxidation gas is provided with: an oxidation side water recovery means 7 for condensing and recovering steam contained in oxidation gas exhausted from a fuel cell 1; a fuel gas oxidating means 14 for producing steam by oxidizing fuel gas exhausted from the fuel cell 1; and a fuel side water recovery means 4 for condensating and recovering steam contained in the fuel gas exhausted from the fuel cell 1 and steam produced by the fuel gas oxidating means 14. The recovered water is used for steam reformation of the fuel gas used for power generation and for humidification of oxidation gas and fuel gas.
