PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high density optical disk simple in structure, easy to realize and capable of reading two layers from the one side and reproducing four layers in total from both sides and to provide its production method easy in mass production. SOLUTION: This high density optical disk consists of a disk to be recorded by signals on both sides (double-sided substrate) 18, a total reflection layer 16 (or 17), an almost transparent intermediate layer 14 (or 15), a translucent reflection layer 12 (or 13) and a disk to be recorded by signals on one side (one-sided substrate) 10 (or 11) from the center toward the outside of the disk. The production method of the high density optical disk comprises forming the double-sided substrate 18 by injection molding, film-forming the total reflection layers 16, 17 on the substrate 18 and laminating it with the one-sided substrates 10, 11 having the translucent layers 12, 13 respectively. |
