PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum electrolytic capacitor which efficiently absorbs vibration and which is superior in the characteristic of reproduced sound and to provide a separator. SOLUTION: A separator, where at least starch fibers are mixed as fibers constituting the separator and starch fibers, is formed of polylactic acid fibers being biodegradable synthetic fibers whose raw material is lactic acid obtained from starch and an aluminum electrolytic capacitor provided with the separator are installed. The mixing rate of polylactic acid fibers is set to be not less than 30% with respect to known fibers of Manila hemp and the like. Thus, the aluminium electrolytic capacitor superior in all the characteristics of the band, sense of quality, resolution, sound image and sound field of reproduced sound can be obtained.
