PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the armature of a small-sized relay from rattling and promote power saving. SOLUTION: A recess 38 is formed at the upper surface of an armature 25 of a small-sized relay 20 in its position, where a leaf spring 26 is supported. The distance between the rotating fulcrum 40 of the armature 25 and the armature sustaining point 39 of the leaf spring 26 is shortened. The recess 38 is given a width which is approx. the same as the leaf spring 26 supported, and the leaf spring 26 is fitted in the recess 38 to sustain the armature 25 to preclude rattling at rotating.
