PURPOSE: A center pillar in a vehicle is provided to minimize deformation caused by a collision with enhanced stiffness by consisting of a front center pillar and a rear center pillar and by adding an auxiliary panel. CONSTITUTION: A center pillar contains a front center pillar(31) of which both ends are bonded each other to form a closed section with an inner panel(31a) and an outer panel(31b); a rear center pillar(32) of which both ends are bonded each other to form a closed section with inner and outer panels(32a,32b), separated from the front center pillar; an auxiliary panel(33) sealing a lower space between the front center pillar and the rear center pillar; and a center glass installed in an upper space between the front center pillar and the rear center pillar. In this structure, the center pillar is prevented from being deformed with remarkably increased stiffness.
