The dynamic reconfiguration commences with detection of risk of failure of one of the components. The system is brought to a coherent state by special programs (J1-J4). Then the components are reallocated, and the component at risk isolated. Pending interrupts (4) and active processes (6) are then executed, with arriving interrupts or tasks blocked till the system is fully restored.
