PURPOSE: A control system of a built-up refrigerator is provided to perform selected functions by controlling a compressor depending on temperature difference between set temperature of a microcontroller and detected temperatures of temperature sensors in each cabinet. CONSTITUTION: A controller of a built-up refrigerator consists of: a function selector(31) for selecting functions of temperature sensors, compressors and cabinets; a function display unit(32) displaying the selected functions by a user; and a microcontroller(15) controlling the compressors by comparing detected temperatures of the temperature sensors with set temperature. When a user selects a freezing mode, the selection is displayed on an LED(Light Emitting Diode) of the function display unit. The microcontroller reads the set temperature value corresponding to the freezing mode and compares the current value of the temperature sensor with the set value. If the current temperature is higher than the set value, the microcontroller drives the compressor.
