PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a data generation transmission system and a communication error restoration method where a function of detecting a communication error is provided to both devices on a communication channel to initialize a communication I/F section after the occurrence of a communication error, list information of data having been sent to a terminal before the occurrence of a communication error at the restart of communication is acquired, restoration processing is conducted selectively in response to a kind of the data having already been registered so as to realize optimum update of data for each kind of data. SOLUTION: Upon the occurrence of a communication error in a data generator 1 and a data multiplexer 2, a PC control I/F section 21 having a communication error detection function initializes a communication I/F, a section communication I/F section 14 is restarted to reconnect a communication channel, list information of data in a memory 22 is acquired and the restoration processing is selectively performed depending on a kind of data having already being registered.
