PURPOSE: A balance maintaining system of a seat is provided to protect a passenger. CONSTITUTION: A balance maintaining system of a seat for a vehicle contains a leveling sensor(6) to detect a horizontal change of a seat(4); an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) to recognize an inclining direction of a vehicle by receiving a signal from the leveling sensor and to execute a horizontal maintaining program of the seat; many lockers(5) to release the seat; a hinge portion(15) to support the lower part of the seat for controlling the horizon of the seat; a seat horizon controller having actuators(18a,18b) to be connected with the seat; an armrest lifter to lift an armrest(3a,3b) by an output signal of the ECU; and an inclining device to control a seat frame toward an opposite direction. Thereby, the safety of a passenger is improved.
