PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently reduce a flattering of recording disks by providing a shroud wall which is opposed to the end faces of recording disks rotating about a strut and surrounds the periphery of the recording disks, and a rectifier groove formed on the shroud wall adjacently to an area opposite to the end faces of the recording disks. SOLUTION: A shroud member 18 is built in a housing 17 in which magnetic disks 12 are stored. The shroud member 18 forms a shroud wall 19 which is opposed to the end faces of the magnetic disks 12 and surrounds peripheries of the magnetic disks 12. A rectifier groove 21 is formed to the shroud wall 19 adjacently to an area opposite to the end faces of the magnetic disks 12. The shroud wall 19 is preferably opposed to the end faces of the magnetic disks 12 in a range as wide as possible, and the rectifier groove 21 is preferably formed without being interrupted in a circumferential direction. A space (s) between the end face of the recording disk 12 and the shroud wall 19, and a depth (d) of the rectifier groove 21 are adjusted, whereby flattering of the recording disks 12 can be efficiently reduced.
