PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a kick spring from being deteriorated or broken when used for a long time in a disk cartridge having the kick spring for moving and urging a shutter to a closed posture. SOLUTION: The disk cartridge has a kick spring 5 for moving and urging a shutter to a closed posture in a disk case 2. The kick spring 5 has a coil part 15, a first arm 16 taken out from an upper end of the coil part 15 and a second arm 18 taken out from a lower end of the coil part 15 via an erect part 17. In a state with a shutter 4 closed, an escape part 25 is notched to a rib wall of a guide rib 24 opposite to the erect part 17 of the kick spring 5. The erect part 17 is slightly elastically deformed and enters the escape part 25 when a tensile force acts to the second arm 18. The deformation of the erect part 17 at this time eases and absorbs the tensile force acting to the second arm 18, thereby eliminating the action of an excessive stress to a bend part 27 of the erect part 17.
