摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the fire sensor with high precision which could not be obtained by the detection of only information regarding a secondary phenomenon by processing image data picked up by an image pickup part having the detection area of a secondary information detecting device in its detection area. SOLUTION: If a fire takes place in the detection area of a temperature sensor 3 of the secondary information detecting device 101, the temperature rises, so the temperature sensor 3 operates and sends a detection signal to a control part 4. On receiving this detection signal, the control part 4 sends an image pickup start signal to the image pickup part 1. By receiving the image pickup start signal, the image pickup part 1 starts picking up an image of the image pickup area and sends an image output ready signal to the control part 4 when becoming able to output the picked-up image data. The control part 4 receives the image output ready signal and sends an image process start signal to an image process part 2. Once receiving the image process start signal, the image process part 2 receives the image data outputted from the image pickup part 1 and performs a fire deciding process for deciding whether or not there is a fire in the obtained image.
