PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To press down many keys with one single finger even when the many keys have to be pressed down at the same time. SOLUTION: This keyboard is provided with a keyboard controller 10 outputting MAKE code/BREAK code each time the ON/OFF of keys are operated and a simultaneous press auxiliary key 9 which controls an output of the BREAK code and supports a simultaneous depression operation of keys and does not output the OFF states of keys to a personal computer main body 2 due to the key 9. The controller 10 is provided with a scanning part 4 scanning the ON/OFF of the key matrix 3 of the keyboard 1, a code converting part 5 which converts the event of a key operation detected by the part 4 into a key code, a BREAK key code buffer 6 controlling an output corresponding to a key OFF of the key code and a key code buffer 7 buffering the key code waiting for an output, and connects the key 9 to the buffer 6.
