PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the area for installment smaller by making an image forming device provided with both of a two-side printing function and a sorter device compact as a whole. SOLUTION: In the device, a sheet of paper on which single side printing is finished is carried in a reverse direction by rotating a stacker ejection roll 9 in reverse before the end part of the paper sheet is separated from the stacker ejection roll 9, feeding the sheet to a two-side printing paper path and further carrying the sheet to a resist roll 3. A sheet that is ejected to a tray 16 after having printing completed is also fed to the two-side printing paper path 11 by the stacker ejection roll 9 and carried on the two-side printing paper path 11. A changeover gate 15 is provided in the two-side printing paper path 11 to fetch the paper sheet to the tray 16. The paper path is changed over so that the paper sheet is carried to the tray 16 by only driving a solenoid at the changeover gate to the tray 16 where the paper sheet is to be ejected. The paper sheet is carried to a sorter ejection roll 17 along the changeover gate 15 and ejected to an arbitrary tray 16.
