PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust a display independent of the installed state of a measuring machine, the feeding position of oil or the working position by disposing a means to control the inclination angle of a display apparatus. SOLUTION: The display panel 13 has a display window 13a formed as a recess having an opening in the front face side, and a display element 20 is disposed in the display window 13a. Rotation axes are projectingly attached to the left and right directions respectively to the almost center part of the left and side faces of the display element 20, and each axis is supported by the both side walls in the display window 13a so as to freely rotate. A damping part to add damping force to the rotation of the display element 20 is attached to the end of the projected rotation axis. In the damping part, a second damping plate is pressed by a compression spring to a first damping plate to add the damping force by the frictional force to the rotation of the rotation axis of the display element 20. This damping force is easily controlled to such a degree that when the display element is manually tilted, it can be easily moved or keep its tilted state.
