THE BRIGHT ANNEALING METHOD FOR AUSTENITE COLD ROLLED STAINLESS STEEL

PURPOSE: A bright annealing method of austenitic stainless cold rolled steel sheets is provided to restrain the growth of scale by annealing under a reductive atmospheric condition (100% hydrogen) after cold rolling a hot rolled austenitic stainless steel sheet. CONSTITUTION: The bright annealing method is characterized in that austenitic stainless hot rolled steel sheet is heated under a reductive atmospheric condition (100% hydrogen) of which dew point is lower than -30deg.C in a temperature elevation rate of at least 20deg.C/sec and then annealed in the temperature range of 1050 to 1100deg.C for 93x(thickness of the steel sheet)±5 seconds.
