PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon valve which allows cost reduction, miniaturization and easy handling with increased safety, an increased degree of freedom of connection to a pipe body and hard to inhibit the flow of fluid. SOLUTION: When this valve 10 opens, a balloon-shaped valve element 14 is put in a valve element storage part 12 so as not to inhibit the flow of fluid (b) passing through a pipeline (a). At the time of valve closing, with supply of compressed air from a supply/exhaust hole 13a, the valve element 14 bulges to close the pipeline (a) of a valve main body 11. Thereafter, the valve element 14 is bled of the compressed air to shrink and is put in the valve element storage part 12. The thus-configured balloon valve 10 allows reduction of production costs and miniaturization, and is easy to handle with increased safety. Moreover, since the valve 10 itself is compact in size, its degree of freedom of connection to a pipe body increases. |
